Port Cafe was the venue for the Networking Reception, bringing together HKTDC and industry officials, VIP buyers and international media, in a lively, friendly atmosphere. Guests enjoyed snacks and drinks, and got the chance to take part in a lucky draw.

Journalists from around the world were treated to a briefing on the gifts industry from a Hong Kong perspective from HKTDC and The Hong Kong Exporters' Association executives and a member of the Fair Organising Committee over a breakfast on Tuesday. They also got the opportunity to network with representatives from several of the fair exhibitors.

Five exhibitors were able to showcase their latest products to a wide audience at the Oasis, Hall 1 on Tuesday at the Product Demo & Launch Pad. Buyers relished the opportunity to see the products "in action" and the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the sellers and developers.
China Focus |

Buyers from the Chinese mainland enjoyed a networking luncheon with HKTDC executives and a selection of exhibitors yesterday. It enabled participants to learn more about each others' needs and gather important product development and market information.

There was huge interest in the seminar entitled ¡§Outlook for US and European Markets After the Financial Tsunami¡¨ from people looking for directions for the future. Presenting the topic were Sarah Reeve, Editor of UK's Gift Focus magazine, and Cinda Baxter, Contributing Editor of Gifts & Decorative Accessories from the US.
